From the moment the franchise began the marketing for The Hunger Games has been pretty spectacular, engaging fans on Facebook and fan sites, teasing out poster debuts and seconds-long trailer previews to the hungry masses, and leaving everyone wanting more. With the second film in the series Catching Fire coming later this year, Lionsgate is using the opportunity to get even more sophisticated, starting a marketing campaign for an even that only exists within the book. Fans of Catching Fire are probably already anticipating Katniss and Peeta's victory tour, in which they travel across the entire nation of Panem to be greeted by the other districts-- the districts, that is, that sent the other competitors in The Hunger Games who died in the arena.
