News: Zero Dark Thirty’s Jason Clarke is set to star in Dawn of the Planet of the Apes. The sequel to 2011’s Rise of the Planet of the Apes will be directed by Cloverfield’s Matt Reeves.

Thoughts by Tsr: While I was a big fan of Rise of the Planet of the Apes, one aspect I found less than impressive was the performance by James Franco. Jason Clarke is sure to be a step up. He is the one aspect of Zero Dark Thirty that I unabashedly love, so this news has me very excited. We don’t know who he will play in Dawn of the Planet of the Apes, but I’m just thrilled an actor of his caliber is starring. And after he and the monkeys in Zero Dark Thirty formed a nice bond, I’m hopeful »
