Author and producer Stephenie Meyer has made no secret about her excitement over the coming release of The Host, and in an all-new interview about the film adaptation of her own 2008 sci-fi novel, she declared that The Host is the most faithful adaptation of one of her stories yet. While Meyer had held The Twilight Saga: New Moon in highest such regard before The Host was completed, she told interviewers at a recent round table discussion (via Twilight Lexicon), "I feel like this one is probably the most true to the book of any of my work that has been adapted."
