Affleck's political thriller wins awards from the American Cinema Editors, Writers Guild of America Ben Affleck's Argo, a the story of the rescue of a handful of American hostages held in Iran in the aftermath of the Iranian Revolution, continues to win awards this season. After victories at the PGA Awards, the DGA Awards, and the SAG Awards (Best Ensemble), this past weekend the thriller won the Ace Award for Best Edited Feature Film - Dramatic (William Goldenberg) and the WGA Award for Best Adapted Screenplay (Chris Terrio).
