If you're a fan of genre TV, you're probably already familiar with Alona Tal from her memorable work on fan faves like "Supernatural" and "Veronica Mars." Her characters suffered untimely deaths on both those shows, so the Israeli actress is hoping that her new series, The CW's "Cult," keeps her around a little longer.

"All jokes aside, I did ask when I signed on if I was going to die in the first season," she tells Zap2it. "I'm very good at dying, apparently. I have a particular track record. I was just making sure!"

On "Cult," Tal essentially plays two characters. In the first episode, we'll see her as Kelly, a TV detective who is tracking the leader of a cult that destroyed her family.
