Stephenie Meyer praises supporting castmembers for 'The Host'
When it comes to The Host, we've heard a lot about its leading castmembers Saoirse Ronan, Max Irons and Jake Abel, but in a recent interview author and producer Stephenie Meyer gave to Hypable about the film, she cast her praise focus upon a few of the movie's supporting actors. William Hurt, who portrays Uncle Jeb in the Andrew Niccol-led adaptation, is one she's sure fans of the book's character will latch onto right away. "[E]very time he’s in a scene it’s just like – 'ahhh!' – angel like," she gushed. "It’s amazing. I really think people are just going to adore him as Uncle Jeb. I think that might be the most true to the novel role – the look, the sound of his voice. I think people are going to be like, 'yes, no one else could do this but him.'"
