As a 150-foot asteroid nearly dropped on us just moments ago (passing earth safely), the ever-reliable guys at Latino Review have just dropped their latest scoop involving Marvel’s 2014 otherworldly venture, Guardians of the Galaxy. After nabbing Zero Dark Thirty star Chris Pratt for the lead role, Peter Quill Aka Star-Lord, the studio and director James Gunn have moved on to another Guardian, Drax the Destroyer. Latino Review reports that Conan the Barbarian actor Jason Momoa not only screen-tested for the role in London just last Wednesday, but that it was so good, “Marvel offered him the part and his reps have now countered.” Therefore, negotiations are underway.
