Harrison Ford has officially signed to reprise one of the most iconic characters in sci-fi history. That's right, the actor, who became famous playing Han Solo in Star Wars: Episode IV - A New Hope, is returning as the Corellian smuggler with a heart of gold who reluctantly joins the Rebel Alliance to win the heart of a princess in Star Wars: Episode VII directed by J.J. Abrams

The news hasn't yet been confirmed by Disney and Lucasfilm, with this casting announcement coming once again from El Mayimbe of Latino Review. No further details have been announced at this time. El Mayimbe dropped the news on Fox News Latino.
