British actor Hugh Laurie is in talks to take the role of villain in Disney's super top-secret sci-fi flick Tomorrowland, according to The Hollywood Reporter. The project stars George Clooney and will be directed by Brad Bird. The script was penned by Damon Lindelof (Star Trek Into DarknessPrometheus and Lost) and Jeff Jensen, an editor at Entertainment Weekly. The plot of the movie project, which until a couple of weeks ago was being called 1952, is under lock and key, though it has been described as being in the vein of Close Encounters of the Third KindSteven Spielberg's 1978 movie about a man searching for extra-terrestrials on Earth.Even the idea of Laurie playing a villain excites me.
