Love the Oscars but can’t make it to Tinseltown to see all the hoopla? Not to worry, St. Louis fans, the hoopla came to you! The first-ever Oscar Roadtrip kicked off on February 4th in New York City and fans along the way are getting the chance to hold an actual Oscar statuette before it arrives on the Hollywood red carpet in time for the 85th Academy Awards presentation on Sunday, February 24.

One of the Roadtrip’s many stops was on Wednesday in the Gateway to the West where local fans turned out at the City Museum and Jc Penney at the West County Center to get their picture taken with the real deal. Even our very own Tom Stockman posed with the Golden Guy.

Oscar’s journey is being chronicled in videos, photos and blog posts by Oscar Roadtrip reporters Ben Gleib and Angie Greenup on OscarRoadtrip.com, »
