Cult Us comedy Community has found a UK home for its third season on Sony Entertainment Television.

The critically-acclaimed sitcom based around a group of misfits at Greendale Community College will return to UK screens for new episodes in May.

Sony Entertainment TV will be repeating the show's second season from March 22 at 11pm to allow new viewers to catch up on the show.

Created by Dan Harmon, the series stars Joel McHale (The Soup), Chevy Chase, Ken Jeong (The Hangover), Gillian Jacobs, Yvette Nicole Brown, Danny Pudi, Donald Glover and Alison Brie (Mad Men).

The show's third season features John Goodman joining the cast as mysterious Vice Dean Laybourne, Chang (Jeong) taking over Campus Security and a Glee parody episode.

Community was in the Digital Spy writers' team's Top 25 Shows of 2011.

The show is currently airing its fourth season on NBC in the Us.
