Fox News has a message for Adele: lose some weight!

The network devoted a four-and-a-half minute segment to this pressing national issue during Neil Cavuto's Monday show — which supposedly focuses on business.

The discussion was apparently prompted by a viewer's tweet:

Can Adele lose some weight please? It's not healthy. And little kids might follow

Fox News then invited nutritionist Karen Gilbert on to the show to discuss the issue. Gilbert suggested that both Adele and Kelly Clarkson, "women who both came from low means" to achieve stardom and recognition during Sunday's Grammys show, should nevertheless slim down a bit (though she did say they were "beautiful"):

"We have processed food and we’re always struggling with — and people are saying, looking at Adele and saying, 'look at what she has accomplished. I could be overweight like her. I don’t need to address these issues in my life. »
