Teresa Palmer has admitted that she was reluctant to take the lead role in Warm Bodies.

Palmer stars in Warm Bodies as a human survivor of a zombie plague, who finds herself falling in love with a mumble-mouthed zombie called R (Nicholas Hoult).

In an interview with Buzzine Film, the actress said her initial fears about the project were relieved soon after shooting commenced.

"I was initially very intimidated about the idea that I drive the movie with the dialogue," she recalled. "R can't really express himself verbally, so he's limited to grunts and groans, but Nicholas Hoult is such a phenomenal actor that he was able to really give me so much to work with."

Palmer went on to say: "He was very expressive with his eyes and his body language was amazing, and I felt like he was speaking volumes without actually opening his mouth and saying any words. »
