Director Andrew Stanton is returning to the familiar waters of animation after floundering in live action with the infamous 2012 flop John Carter, and he has already locked down Ellen DeGeneres to reprise her role of the forgetful fish Dory for Disney/Pixar's sequel Finding Nemo 2. Though Nicolas Winding Refn's Drive gave Albert Brooks the opportunity to stretch his acting muscles and play a villain, Brooks' voice work in the original Finding Nemo is actually his most famous performance of the past decade, so it's no surprise seeing Deadline report the actor has signed on to voice Nemo's father Marlin again in the sequel. Story details are still scant for the underwater follow-up, but to me, a sequel to Finding Nemo seems a lot more appealing than Pixar's upcoming effort Monsters University.
