Cinedigm Entertainment Group and Tribeca Films have paired together to acquire the U.S. rights to director Craig Zisk's "The English Teacher," starring Julianne Moore and Greg Kinnear. "The English Teacher" stars Moore as a beloved English teacher whose life becomes disrupted after a former student (Kinnear) returns to the school after failing as a playwright. Nathan Lane costars in the film as a drama teacher and colleague of Moore's, who encourages Kinnear to stage his own play. The film is the directorial debut for Zisk, whose past credits are primarily in directing television series such as "Weeds" and "The Big C."
