Cinedigm Entertainment and Tribeca have teamed up for Us distribution rights to "The English Teacher," from director Craig Zisk. This marks Zisk's feature directorial debut; his many TV credits include "Nurse Jackie," "Weeds," "Nip/Tuck," and "United States of Tara." Julianne Moore stars as a passionate and well loved English teacher whose own life is repressed and dull until a former student returns to town after failing as a playwright. Nathan Lane, Greg Kinnear, Lily Collins and Michael Angarano also star. Cinedigm's Vincent Scordino says the film "cleverly tells an honest, relatable and extremely funny story of self-discovery and reinvention that pops with great performances.” A VOD and digital release is planned for Spring 2013, followed by a theatrical rollout. »
