On a Monday when most every show dipped or dropped, NBC’s freshman drama Deception and ABC’s Castle were among the precious few that enjoyed upticks.

Leading out of a season-low Biggest Loser (down a tenth to a 2.0 rating), Deception (3.3 mil/1.3) rose 7 and 18 percent week-to-week. In the same time slot, Castle (8.9 mil/2.0) held steady in audience while inching up two tenths to its best rating since Oct. 29. (Hawaii Five-0 however bested both, with 9.5 mil/2.1.)

Teeing up Castle, The Bachelor rose to season highs of 8.4 mil and 2.7.
