Lana Del Rey has fuelled speculation that she is working on the soundtrack for The Great Gatsby.

On February 7, a post on the 'Video Games' singer's official Twitter page simply read: "Gatsby."

Del Rey's Facebook page also featured a similar post, although this has now been removed.

Rumours about the 26-year-old 'Blue Jeans' singer working on the film's score have been rife since last year.

Although her involvement with The Great Gatsby has yet to be confirmed, Del Rey said in November that she was working on "a movie coming out in the summer that's set in the 1920s and it's been fun for [her] to write love songs for a woman who is the star".

The Great Gatsby, starring Leonardo DiCaprio and Carey Mulligan, is currently set to be released on May 10 in the Us and May 17 in the UK.
