The James Bond franchise hit an incredible landmark in 2012. Because Dr. No first premiered in 1962, last year was the spy franchise's 50th anniversary - and it was celebrated in style. Not only were all 22 previous films collected into one really amazing box set, Sam Mendes delivered one of the greatest 007 movies ever with Skyfall. But the celebration is far from over. As previously reported, this year's Academy Awards ceremony will feature a special sequence/tribute to the legacy of Bond (the longest-running motion picture franchise in history), which will feature a performance of the Skyfall theme by Adele - her first time performing it live.
