Director Shawn Levy, who helmed the 2006 ruckus in New York's Museum of Natural History and survived 2009's Battle of the Smithsonian sequel, is returning. Late in 2012, before the threequel was confirmed, Levy told Collider, "It’s really funny, it’s very poignant, and it’s not just 'Oh what museum are they going to this time?' It’s a much meatier story than that." »
