Director Niels Arden Oplev and Swedish actress Noomi Rapace – who collaborated on the Swedish-language adaptation of The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo – reunite for the American neo-Noir thriller Dead Man Down, drawing from a script penned by Fringe co-showrunner and writer J.H. Wyman (whose previous feature-writing efforts include the Brad Pitt and Julia Roberts action-comedy The Mexican).

A new featurette offers a behind-the-scenes peek at the filmmaking process. That includes interviews with Oplev and Rapace discussing how Dead Man Down serves as a fitting thematic followup to their Dragon Tattoo adaptation. Meanwhile, cast members Colin Farrell (Total Recall (2012)) and Terrence Howard (Iron Man) voice their approval of Oplev’s directing style and focused approach.
