After some time away from her old haunt, Taissa Farmiga will be back for American Horror Story‘s upcoming third season.
The actress, who played tortured teen Violet in Season 1 of Ryan Murphy‘s FX scarefest, has officially re-upped for the next installment.
Farmiga will be a brand new character in Season 3, which series co-creator Murphy recently said will take place in modern day but also will be “more historical in nature.”
Update: Frances Conroy also will be back in Season 3, per Ryan Murphy’s Twitter feed. More to come…
