The Office may be saying goodbye, but Ellie Kemper is sticking around NBC.

The actress has signed on to headline Brenda Forever, a comedic pilot that centers on a woman whose "past and present are interwoven," according to the network synopsis in order "to give a unique portrait of how a chubby, awkward, but incredibly confident 13-year-old grew up to be a 31-year-old woman who still marches to the beat of her own drum.”

Kemper is the second Office star to agree to a pilot deal with NBC.

Craig Robinson will anchor a single-camera sitcom, written by Greg Daniels, that features the actor musician/middle school teacher. »
