The recently announced Star Wars stand-alone films could feature Han Solo and Boba Fett, according to reports.

Disney announced this week that a series of films set in the Star Wars universe will be produced separately from Jj Abrams's Episode 7 and the ensuing 8 and 9.

A highly-placed source revealed to Entertainment Weekly that a Han Solo origin story and a bounty hunter-themed movie are being developed by Disney, but cautioned that it is still very early in the planning stages.

The Han Solo origin film would be set before A New Hope and would show how he became a galactic smuggler.

Harrison Ford could potentially appear to set up a flashback of Han Solo's background, but a younger actor would play the character throughout most of the film.

The Boba Fett adventure would see him attempting to collect a bounty while outsmarting other galactic travellers. This film would apparently slot »
