Somewhere over the rainbow, there’s the sounds of pop superstar and American Idol judge Mariah Carey.
Upcoming Disney movie Oz The Great and Powerful’s closing credits will feature a song sung and co-written by Carey called “Almost Home.”
The track will be released as a single by Carey’s label, Island Def Jam, on Feb. 19. Carey will also appear in a music video for the song, to be directed by David Lachapelle, who directed the singer’s 2001 video for “Loverboy.”
