Well, they can't all be winners.

After two episodes filled with exciting revelations, Pretty Little Liars slows things down with "Dead to Me." Much of tonight's focus was on Spencer's worsening downward spiral, while there was very little progress on the A-team and Ali's murder

While focusing on the characters and their lives (as the show did tonight) can add a lot of dimension and deeper significance to the events, it can also be quite contrary to the point of the series: solving the mystery. In other words, it's great for fans of the characters, but frustrating for those of us who just want some answers. 

The most helpful revelation involved Emily and a hypnotherapy session. Emily is finally dealing with the fallout from killing Nate after receiving a French postcard from A that basically called her a murderer (and it does sound much prettier in French). As most therapists know, »
