Lindsey Vonn suffered a serious crash on opening day of Alpine World Championships in Austria on Tuesday, her spokesperson confirms to People. The Vancouver gold medalist's rep, who still did not know the extent of Vonn's injuries, said in a statement, "Lindsey was involved in a crash in today's World Championship Super G race in Schladming, Austria. She is currently being evaluated and we will provide an update when it becomes available."
