It's been some time since we last heard anything about writer/director Ren Blood's Zombie Ed, but he dropped us a line this weekend with the news that the wacky zombie comedy is out now on DVD, released by Brain Damage Films. Check out the flick's new artwork and trailer.

Special features on the DVD include deleted scenes, zombie PSA's, and more.

Synopsis:

Loser Ed has a lame job, a beater car, a crappy apartment, and no hope of a girlfriend. Ed doesn’t think things could get any worse for him until the day he wakes up and finds he had Gone Zombie. Ed doesn’t know anything about zombies and is shocked to find that as a zombie he is good-looking, lands a modeling job, and becomes an Olympic track star.
