Netflix launched its David Fincher original series "House of Cards" today -- read our review here -- in its 13-episode first season entirety. For those without a subscription, the company has made the first episode, which Fincher directed in what is his first TV venture, available for free online for one month in all Netflix territories at netflix.com/houseofcards starting today. "The creative team in front of and behind the camera have delivered a riveting 13-chapter narrative that we're proud to present to Netflix members today," said Netflix's Chief Content Office Ted Sarandos. "By offering the first episode for free, including to non-members, we are opening up this fascinating world for everyone to see and are confident they'll want more."
