- Roseanne is developing a new comedy for NBC, after the network failed to pick-up her pilot "Downwardly Mobile" last season. She's already in business with the network filming a guest arc on the final season of "The Office." Meanwhile, Roseanne's one-time TV husband John Goodman has been cast in Garry Trudeau's "Alpha House," about four U.S. Senators living in a rented house in Washington D.C., for Amazon. - Brenda Song ("The Suite Life," "The Social Network") is the first casting for Fox's untitled comedy series from "Ted" writers Alec Sulkin, Wellesley Wild and Seth MacFarlane. Sulkin and Wild wrote the pilot about two thirtysomething guys and their terrible dads. Fox has already ordered six episodes before the pilot is shot. [Deadline]
