For their 2004 album No Sir, Nihilism Is Not Practical, crazed Georgia metalcore unit Showbread recorded a track titled “Dead By Dawn,” which I'm sure all of you know is the subtitle for Sam Raimi's immortal classic Evil Dead II. That's no coincidence, either: the band members are huge fans of the Evil Dead series, and the song is a direct homage to the movie. It was only a matter of time before a fan of both the band and the film would combine the two into a Diy music video, using footage from Evil Dead II. We came across it recently, and discovered it's pretty well put-together and very funny... and with the buzz-heavy Evil Dead remake coming this spring we thought it would be kinda groovy (see what I did there?) to drop the clip on ya.     Showbread's tenth album Cancer (which features the seriously creepy cover art shown below) is out now, »
