2013 will see the release of not one but two movies centered on a single secret service agent tasked with saving the United States president once the White House is ambushed. Roland Emmerich will unroll his take on this tale with the Channing Tatum-fronted White House Down this summer. But before then, audiences here and abroad will already have had the chance to take in Antoine Fuqua's Olympus Has Fallen. Gerard Butler stars Mike Banning, a former secret service agent who retired after the accidental death of the First Lady. But when 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue is besieged by North Korean commandos, Banning rushes to the aid of the President (Aaron Eckhart) and his son.
