"Banshee," the new action series created by novelists Jonathan Tropper and David Schickler and executive produced by Alan Ball (of "True Blood" and "Six Feet Under"), is currently in the middle of its first season on Cinemax. It's apparently going so well that the premium network today renewed the drama for a second season. "Banshee" stars Antony Starr ("Rush") as Lucas Hood, an ex-con and master thief who take on the identity of the sheriff of Banshee, Pa while being hunted by gangster seeking revenge for his betrayal years before.
