New Regency has acquired "Pyongyang," set up at director Gore Verbinski’s Blind Wink transmedia banner which also produced "Rango." The film is about a young animator sent to North Korea who is then accused of espionage. The "humorous nightmare" is based on Guy Delisle's graphic novel of the same name, adapted for the screen by Steve Conrad (“The Secret Life of Walter Mitty”). Verbinski's "The Lone Ranger," starring Johnny Depp and Armie Hammer, arrives this summer. »
