Universal's "sort-of" sequel This is 40 is hitting Blu-ray and DVD on March 22, which happens to fall on a Friday. You will have to go for the Blu-ray edition to gain access to the unrated cut that runs an additional three minutes.

A spin-off of Judd Apatow's Knocked Up that focuses on the characters of Pete (Paul Rudd) and Debbie (Leslie Mann) as they traverse middle-aged life, This is 40 was a modest success at the box office with $66.3 million in domestic ticket sales from a budget of approximately $35 million. For comparison's sake, Knocked Up earned $148.8 million during its theatrical run, more than double its successor. The film co-stars Melissa McCarthy, Jason Segel, Megan Fox, John Lithgow and Albert Brooks.

The Blu-ray presentation of This is 40 will be in 2.4:1 1080p video and 5.1 DTS-hd Master Audio. All of these bonus features are exclusive to the Blu-ray, DVD, digital »
