Rotten Tomatoes™, the web’s leading aggregator of reviews from top movie critics, today announced the recipients of its annual Golden Tomato Awards – honoring the best-reviewed films of 2012 according to critics (entire list follows). The Golden Tomato for the best-reviewed wide release of 2012 is presented to Warner Bros. PicturesArgo. According to the Tomatometer, which measures the percentage of positive reviews from Rotten Tomatoes™ critics, Argo received a 96% positive rating based on 253 reviews. Jafar Panahi’s documentary This is Not a Film is presented the Golden Tomato Award for best-reviewed film in limited release. This is Not a Film received a 99% positive rating based on a total of 146 reviews.
