Although his 2 TV series "Fringe" and "Alcatraz" were recently cancelled, director Jj Abrams remains strong in features, having rebooted the space crew of the 'Enterprise' in "Star Trek" and now  preparing to kick-start a fresh trilogy of Lucasfilm 3D "Star Wars" movies for the Walt Disney Company, starting with "Star Wars: Episode VII" :
