The Walt Disney Company and their newly acquired LucasFilm arm are prepping to begin production on a new Star Wars film trilogy, of which the first film will be released in 2015. Michael Arndt (Little Miss Sunshine, Toy Story 3) is writing the screenplay for the highly anticipated next installment of the Star Wars franchise. No story details have been revealed, but it's confirmed the film will take place after the events of Return of the Jedi. Mark Hamill, Harrison Ford and Carrie Fisher are all rumored to be reprising their characters of Luke Skywalker, Han Solo and Princess Leia Organa, if only for small roles.
