Principal shooting has begun on "Hello Carter," a London-based comedy helmed by first-time director Anthony Wilcox. Charlie Cox ("Stardust") stars in the title role, alongside Jodie Whittaker ("Attack the Block"), Paul Schneider ("The Newsroom," "Bright Star") and Judy Parfitt ("The Girl with the Pearl Earring"). Newcomers Antonia Thomas, Henry Lloyd Hughes and Annabelle Wallis also star. Brit director Michael Winterbottom, whose "The Look of Love" just sold at Sundance, is serving as an executive producer. Here's the synopsis: Carter has hit rock bottom. In the space of a year he’s become homeless, single and unemployed in London. Life has been better. Carter wants to sort things out, starting with tracking down his elusive ex-girlfriend Kelly. It’s the 11 month anniversary of their break up, and now more than ever Carter feels that she is the key to restoring harmony to his life. »
