It's time to bid farewell to the sight of James Van Der Beek semi-ironically playing himself, at least for now -- ABC has pulled and effectively canceled sitcom "Don't Trust the B---- in Apartment 23." Star Krysten Ritter confirmed the series had been given notice this afternoon on Twitter ("my beloved fans, sad to confirm that it is true. Don't Trust the B--- #apt23 has been cancelled. thank you so much for your support") after the Hollywood Reporter noted that the show had been yanked from the network's Tuesday night schedule, and that the remaining eight episodes would go unaired.
