The Rolling Stones lead the field for this year's NME Awards nominations with recognition in four categories. Other notable nominees include One Direction's Harry Styles, who has been nominated for the 'Villain of the Year' gong, plus Mia, Tame Impala and newcomers Haim, who each get the nod in four categories.

[The Rolling Stones at the Concert for Sandy Relief] The Rolling Stones, who recently marked their 50th anniversary with new music and live shows, are in the running for 'Music Moment of The Year' for their comeback show at the O2, 'Best Book' for 50, 'Best Music Film' for Crossfire Hurricane and 'Best Live Band'. "It's very nice to be nominated," Mick Jagger told NME of the news.
