Grammy Award-winning singer Jennifer Hudson, who launched her career in 2004 during the third season of ‘American Idol,’ thinks its time for the hit Fox reality competition to end, Celebuzz is reporting. While at the Hennessy Vs’ event for her new drama, ‘The Inevitable Defeat of Mister and Pete,’ in Los Angeles, the Oscar-winning actress said “I think it should just allow itself to go out on top…and gracefully.” While Hudson, who placed seventh on her season, still holds ‘American Idol’ in high regards, saying it has “changed the face of television,” she pointed to the show’s declining viewership in recent years.
