It seemed like it was talked about forever and destined never to be made, but that all changed last year, and now we’re mere months away from “Kick-Ass 2” hitting theaters. Aaron Taylor-Johnson returns as the eponymous not-so-super superhero, as well as Chloe Moretz and Christopher Mintz-Plasse (whose Red Mist has upgraded to become The Mother Fucker). Matthew Vaughn has been replaced in the director’s chair by “Never Back Down” helmer Jeff Wadlow, while the latest additions to the cast include Donald Faison, Lindy Booth, John Leguizamo and newcomer Olga Kurkulina as the indomitable Mother Russia. Arguably the biggest addition though is Jim Carrey, whose casting came as somewhat of a surprise despite his vocal support of Vaughn’s first movie.
