The last few months have been filled with films that have gained prominence as awards contenders, including such box office successes as Les Miserables and Django Unchained. It.s easy to forget that there were plenty of movies throughout the year that brought something special to the big screen, even if they didn.t achieve quite as huge theatrical releases. One of these films is P.T. Anderson.s The Master, which hit theaters this fall but hasn.t really been heard from since.
