Young actor Colin Ford now has the distinction of being the first person cast in the upcoming series, Under the Dome, based upon the Stephen King novel. So far, the actor’s credits include playing the young Sam Winchester in TV’s Supernatural and acting alongside Matt Damon in We Bought a Zoo.
Now Deadline confirms Ford will play Joe, a teenager who lives in Chester’s Mill, a small New England town, which any fan knows is a staple in King’s work. Joe is very bright and enduring the fright of his life when he discovers that his entire town has been encapsulated inside a strange dome. The worst part is, his parents are outside of the dome. He’s cut off from them.
