Opinions vary when it comes to Kristen Stewart and Chris Hemsworth's Snow White and the Huntsman, but most can agree that the visual effects were sublime. Even the Academy thought the visual were worth nominating as Swath was nominated for Best Visual Effects alongside Peter Jackson's The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey, Ang Lee's Life of Pi, Joss Whedon's The Avengers, and Ridley Scott's Prometheus. Who will win? It's anybody's guess, I'd have to say I'm leaning toward Marvel's The Avengers, just because of the amazing work that was done on The Hulk by Industrial Light and Magic (Ilm).
