This year's host of the Oscars created the Fox comedy hit Family Guy -- for which he also voices the characters Peter and Stewie -- and his directorial debut of the comedy Ted became a box office hit last year. Here are five things you probably don't know about writer/producer/director Seth MacFarlane

1. As a teenager, he created a comic strip called Walter Crouton for his local newspaper, the Kent Good Times Dispatch in Connecticut.
