For the most part, 2012 was an adequate year for movies. There weren’t really any films that stuck out, broke new ground or had the world on its knees. Sure, there were great films (Argo, The Master, Skyfall, The Perks Of Being A Wallflower, Zero Dark Thirty, just to name a few), but nothing was simply outstanding enough to make us sit and take notice. Even the most anticipated movie of 2012, The Dark Knight Rises, was just… okay.

But as with any year in film, there sure were a lot of terrible films that stick out in our memories. As it seems to be happening more and more, the bad movies certainly outnumber the good ones. With the prospect of making movies to be a more expensive venture than ever, it is sometimes baffling to see how a studio could even consider writing a check to finance some of these stinkers. »
