Good news, The Killing is headed back to AMC for a third season, according to ComingSoon. Veena Sud is set to return as executive producer, writer and showrunner in the deal that was reached by the network and Fox Television Studios. As part of the deal, actors Mireille Enos (Sarah Linden) and Joel Kinnaman (Stephen Holder) are also returning. The new season will focus on a new case, which will be resolved over the course of 12 episodes. Filming is slated to begin February 25th in Vancouver.
