Six months after AMC's "The Killing" was killed off following its second season, the cable network has renewed the show for a third season. Stars Mireille Enos and Joel Kinnaman are both set to return to the series. Showrunner Veena Sud and her team have been busily working in the writers room for weeks now. Production is set to begin on February 25 in Vancouver. "The Killing" angered many fans after its Season One finale, which did not answer the show's much-publicized tagline, "Who Killed Rosie Larsen?" The mystery was eventually resolved at the end of the second season, but by that point ratings had dipped considerably. Reportedly AMC will diminish its license fee and Fox TV Studios, which produces the show, will lower production costs in order to make the third season financially justifiable.
